Both of my deer guns are lefties but it isn't necessary in a shotgun for me. Definitely needs to have a reversible safety (I'm left handed). Cerakoted barrel & receiver a must (rust annoys me), 3.5 inch chamber is nice to have but not absolutely necessary. Here's the ask: Looking for a new (or new to me) inertia shotgun - don't necessarily hate gas driven guns - have shot Brownings and Mossberg - they were OK but I don't want to have to be obsessed with doing more than running a swab and a quick wipe down. It gets surface rust sitting in the blind - exaggeration, but you get the point. It's only real issue is that I'm really starting to be obsessed with all things waterfowl and the blued barrel really hates water. Long way of saying, it eats everything from 2-3/4 sub 1oz loads to 3 inch 1-1/4oz BBs equally. Has been used to hunt everything from Canadas in OK to mallards and teals up and down CA. One FTF "Benelli click" in it's life - my fault. Has had none of the issues most people claim to hate about inertia driven shotguns. Absolutely love this gun! It's been extremely reliable as long as I've owned it. I own a black plastic stocked Franchi Affinity - approximately 5 years old (pre-Affinity 3).
